Where can I find 24-hour hospitals for emergencies in Seoul?

Hi everyone, I was wondering — if someone suddenly gets sick late at night (like high fever or severe pain), where do people usually go in Korea? Are there hospitals in Seoul that are open 24/7 for emergencies , especially ones that are foreigner-friendly or have English support? Also: Do I need to call before going? Are emergency rooms very expensive here? Is it okay to just walk in? Would really appreciate if anyone can share hospitals they’ve actually used or recommend 🙏 Thanks in advance!

🏥 24-Hour Pediatric Emergency Hospitals in Seoul?

Hi everyone, I was trying to prepare in advance just in case, and wanted to ask: If a child suddenly gets sick late at night (high fever, etc.), which hospitals in Seoul provide 24-hour pediatric emergency care ? A few things I’m curious about: Which hospitals are open 24/7 for children emergencies ? Are there any that are foreigner-friendly / English-speaking ? Do most emergency rooms in Korea treat children, or only specific hospitals? Is there anything important to know before visiting (documents, insurance, etc.)? I’m based near Itaewon , but general recommendations across Seoul would be really helpful. Would love to hear your experiences or suggestions so I can be prepared in advance 🙏 Thanks!

Anyone else struggling to eat healthy in Korea?

I swear my diet got worse after moving to Korea 😅 Back home it was so easy: • fresh groceries • proper home-cooked food • everything available nearby Here I feel like I either: • eat out too much • or can’t find the ingredients I need Lately I’ve been trying to cook more and eat healthier, but finding the right stuff is still a challenge… Curious — how are you guys managing it? Also recently came across Forpang and it looks like they’re adding more international groceries: www.forpang.com/shop Has anyone tried it yet?

How to find English-speaking doctors in Korea?

Hi everyone 👋 I recently needed to visit a clinic in Korea, but I was worried about the language barrier 😅 Good news — it was much easier than I expected! Here are a few tips that helped me: ✅ Look for hospitals in areas like Itaewon, Gangnam, or Hongdae ✅ Search for “International Clinic” or “Global Center” ✅ Many big hospitals offer English support (some even have translators!) ✅ Apps like Naver Maps can show reviews mentioning English service 💡 Bonus tip: Always bring your ARC or passport when visiting

First time using Korean hospital as a foreigner

I went to a local clinic today in Hongdae and honestly the experience was really smooth. Things I learned: • Most doctors speak basic English • Health insurance makes it very cheap • Waiting time was only 10 minutes Has anyone else had good or bad experiences with hospitals in Korea?
